Cynthia Rasmussen received undergraduate degrees in Music and Bible from Cairn University (Philadelphia College of Bible) and a M.M. in Vocal Performance from West Chester University. She has been teaching voice for well over three decades, and especially enjoys working with the young voice. Currently, Cynthia teaches voice at Quakertown Community High School in their Voice Studies Scholarship Program. She is also the Music Ministry Coordinator at Church of the Open Door in Ft. Washington, where she leads the Adult and Children’s Choirs as well as sings on the Praise Team each week. Besides teaching, Cynthia sang professionally for many years with the Bel Canto Lyric Opera Company, Philadelphia and The Ambler Choral Society, Ambler, PA. She has appeared as a soloist at The Ocean City Tabernacle, Ocean City, NJ, The Princeton Reformed Theological Conference, Princeton, NJ, The Lancaster Chorale, Lancaster, PA, and the 2019 Sing! Conference in Nashville, TN.
