At Csehy Summer School of Music, campers never lack for activities to fill the day! While each camper’s schedule varies slightly, there are certain activities in which all campers participate. Each morning begins with a chapel service. Different guest speakers are invited each week to start the day with a challenge from God’s Word and prayer. The entire camp shares meals together throughout the day. In the evenings, faculty, staff, and campers gather for “sing time” where the entire Csehy “family” sings hymns and shares what God has been accomplishing in their lives. To end the day, campers meet with their hall mates and counselor for small group devotions. For the staff of full-time counselors, who are available to assist the campers throughout the day as well as offer advice and guidance, this is the perfect time to insure that each camper's “Csehy Experience” will last a lifetime.

During afternoon and evening free time, many campers elect to take advantage of the excellent athletic facilities of Houghton College. The Nielsen Physical Education Center houses an indoor pool, running track and several basketball courts. The “Quad,” a large field in the center of campus, is the perfect setting for Frisbee, baseball, or soccer. The Reinhold Campus Center is also a favorite place to play board games and relax with friends.

Houghton College is located in beautiful, western New York. The calm, rural setting provides an ideal atmosphere for spiritual and musical growth. While at Csehy, campers may have the opportunity to take a field trip to nearby Letchworth State Park. The park is home to numerous hiking trails, scenic waterfalls, fields and a picnic area.
