
Emily Britton has served on the faculty of the Csehy Summer School of Music since 2004, after spending many summers as a Csehy camper. Mrs. Britton earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education at Roberts Wesleyan College, and a Master of Music degree in Horn Performance and Literature as well as a Performer’s Certificate at the Eastman School of Music, both in Rochester, New York. Currently pursuing doctoral studies in Horn Performance at Florida State University, Mrs. Britton also serves as Principal Horn of the Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra and subs regularly with the Albany Symphony Orchestra of Georgia, the Sinfonia Gulf Coast (Destin, Florida), and the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra, in addition to various free-lance opportunities in the Tallahassee, Florida area. Principal teachers include W. Peter Kurau, Michelle Stebleton, Jennifer Burch.
